TANGENT consortium gathers to shape the future of traffic management
In Castelldefels, near Barcelona, Panteia and other participants in the TANGENT consortium convened this month for a pivotal two-day meeting, marking a significant milestone in their journey towards revolutionizing traffic management.
With just one year remaining before the conclusion of the project, experts from various fields are joining forces to discuss the final steps required to realize the project's anticipated impacts. The TANGENT project, focused on Cooperative Traffic Management, aims to introduce groundbreaking solutions for improving traffic flow and safety. During the meeting, Panteia presented the results of their baseline study. The effects of the project’s solutions will be measured against this baseline.
The TANGENT consortium comprises experts, researchers, and industry leaders, all united by a common goal: to reshape the future of traffic management, reduce congestion and CO2 emissions, and enhance road safety. As the TANGENT project enters its final phase, the solutions that have been developed throughout the project will be tested and implemented.
More information about TANGENT can be found on the project's website.
