Panteia partner in Middle Corridor development
On 20 October, Panteia participated in the round table “MIDDLE CORRIDOR – NEW HORIZON FOR EUROPE”, organized at the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Netherlands. The round table was organized to discuss issues and ideas regarding joint initiatives in the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
As the landlocked Central Asian region develops its economy, railways become vital for efficiently handling increasing export and import flows. In addition, the Middle Corridor has gained importance as an alternative route for the delivery of goods between Europe and Asia, including the further development of trade and economic relations between Kazakhstan and other countries in the region and the Netherlands. As Panteia’s expert Chris Wensink emphasized, corridor management is a key enabler for an efficient corridor that promotes growth.
