Femke van Gurp is a junior researcher/advisor at Panteia. She graduated in July 2017 as an interdisciplinary social scientist with a special focus on social issues such as social media and online games (and addiction to these media), youth crime and alcohol use among adolescents. She specializes in online behavior such as online gaming. Within Panteia, Femke focuses on subjects such as care, well-being and work. For example, Femke is working on the evaluation of ‘Actieplan zelfbeschikking 2015-2017’, which measures the effects of the campaigns about the fundamental right to make your own choices.
She uses both quantitative and qualitative research methods and is able to combine the two when necessary.
